- Hub is a hardware device for connecting multiple Ethernet devices together and making them acts as a single network segment.
- Hub will pass the received data to the all the systems connected to that hub.
- Hub has multiple input and output ports.So,In this a signal introduced at the one input port and that appears at the all other output ports except the system which send that signal.
Where we will place the Hub in network topology ?
- We will place the hub at the physical layer of the OSI layers.
