- Those are
1.Routing Number
2.Account Number
3.Check Number
1.Routing Number :
- The first set of a numbers on the lower left corner of a check is the routing number.
- Routing number is used to identify the bank name or region of bank.
- Routing number consists totally 9-digits numbers surrounded by the characters.
- This is public.which is common code for many accounts.
- Routing number also called as "Transit numbers".
2.Account Number :
- The second set of numbers after the routing numbers is the Account number.
- Account number is unique and private to the your account.
- Account number is used to identifying the persons individually.
3.Check Numbers :
- Last set of numbers on the right is check numbers.
- Check number is used to identify the an individual check for our own accounting.
Credit Card Details:
- A check number on credit card checks the authenticity of the number.
- A simple algorithm is applied to the all other digits of the credit card number to generate the check number.
1.Issuer Number :
- The first digit of the credit card number represents the Issuer of the card.
- Issuer represented numbers are
3 - represents the Travel or Entertainment.
4 - represents the Visa.
5 - represents the Master Card.
6 - represents the Discover card.
2.Bank Number :
- Bank number is used to identify the bank and its details.
3.Account Number :
- Account Number is used to identify the individual accounts.
4.Check Digits :
- Check digits of credit card is used to check the validity of the card.
Debit Card Details :

1. Account Number :
- This 16-digit number is unique to your card. It is different from your checking account number.
2.Issue Date :
- This is the date your debit card was issued.
3.Expire Date :
- Your card can only be used until this date. A new card will be automatically sent to your address prior to the expiration date.
4.Visa or Master card Logo :
- This symbol means that you can use this card wherever Visa® or Mastercard® debit cards are accepted, for example, department stores, restaurants, and online.
