History of Helvetica :
- Helvetica was developed in 1957 by swiss type face designer "Max Miedinger" with Edward Haffman.
- The first one is original design designed by the max and released by "Linotype " in 1957.
- And secondly in 1983,Linotype's daughter company "Stempel AG" released the "Neue Helvetica font design ".
Helvetica Looks Like :
- Tall X-height, which makes it easier to read in smaller size and at distances also.
- Quite tight spacing between letters.
- Some letters look like different. For example, If you consider the 't' and 'f' of Helvetica typeface they are looking like narrow.

- Helvetica rounded was developed in 1978 and includes rounded stroke terminators .It's only available in bold and black versions.
Helvetica Neue :
- Neue Helvetica was developed in 1983 and it has more strutures unified heights and widths among its characters .
- It has legibility to read and increased spacing manner.
Helvetica Compared To Arial :
- Arial is similar to the Helvetica. But their is some letters differentiate the Arial and Helvetica those letters are G,R,r,t,a and 3.
- Difference between both is Strokes for each character .Helvetica uses the primarily vertical or horizontal terminations on their strokes,Arial uses the diagonal.storks.
