Difference between Hub, Switch and Router

HUB SWITCH ROUTER
Hub is used to connect with multiple devices
Switch also used to connect with multiple devices
Router is used to connect with the 2 LAN's or WAN's
Hub operate at Layer-1 or Physical layer of OSI network layers.
Switch operate at Layer-2 or Data link layer of OSI network layers.
Router operate at Layer-3 or network layer of OSI network layers.
In Hub, Whatever it received anything It will send that data to all the ports/devices which are connected to that Hub.
Switch will send the data to particular device based on MAC address given by sender system.
Router will send the data to particular device of a particular LAN or WAN. Based on header given by sender device.
Hub follows Half duplex mode.Because,it can send or receive the files at a time.
Switch follows the Full duplex mode. Because, it can send and receive the files at a time.
Router follows the Full duplex mode. Because, it can send and receive the files at a time.
